Job summary
SimVentions is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer to perform software systems engineering for the acquisition, development and sustainment of various aviation programs. This on-site role requires presence at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD, and offers a competitive compensation package.
The position requires an ACTIVE Secret Clearance, with potential to obtain Top Secret later.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of software and systems engineering experience.
- Experience with military aircraft avionics systems and/or software.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain software requirements.
- Review vendor software specs and evaluate for integration.
- Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
- Analyze software defects and support cybersecurity SMEs.
- Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
- Support ECP process and prepare SOWs/CDRLs and IGCEs.
- Support technical evaluations of contractor proposals.
