Job summary

SimVentions, Inc. is seeking a mid-level to senior software-focused Systems Engineer for on-site work at the NAVAIR base in Pax River, MD.

The role involves software systems engineering for acquisition, development and sustainment of aviation programs, with security clearances required. The candidate should have a minimum of ten years in software and systems engineering, experience with military avionics, and an active Secret clearance (Top Secret possible later).

Qualifications

• At least ten years of software and systems engineering experience.
• Experience with military aircraft avionic systems and/or software.
• Active Secret clearance; Top Secret potential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software requirements.
• Review and evaluate vendor software specifications.
• Coordinate with vendors on software and system integration.
• Analyze software defects and coordinate with cybersecurity experts.
• Participate in System Engineering Technical Reviews (SRRs, SSRs, PDRs, CDRs, TRRs).
• Support Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process and SOW/CDRL preparation.
