Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Systems and Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps functions within the Systems Administration team, shaping the future of global commerce.

You will oversee the delivery of client requirements, manage the tech stack, and drive security and compliance across environments and services. An emphasis on leadership, collaboration, and strategic problem-solving is essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years related professional experience including at least 3 years in a technology management position.
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience is required or can be substituted with relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the team’s BAU workload to maintain stability, security, and high quality execution.
• Act as key point-of-contact for planning and delivery of client requirements.
• Apply strong technical acumen to understand full tech stack and support problem-solving and planning.
• Serve as escalation point for technical incidents and act as incident commander when customer impact must be mitigated.
• Oversee timely, high-quality RCAs and ensure actions are completed within scope.
• Collaborate with Enterprise shared service teams to adopt best practice Service Management capabilities.
• Interpret and adopt Technology and Security standards as published and evolved.
• Manage risk and develop remediation plans across environments and services.
• Introduce standards-based tooling and processes for infrastructure and deployment; participate in enterprise initiatives.
• Lead delivery of larger projects within team responsibilities.
• Mentor and coach team members to foster customer service, high performance and results.
• Direct priorities and oversee offshore and contract resources.
