Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Systems and Operations Manager to lead Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps across environments, ensuring delivery, security and compliance. You’ll collaborate with Client Support, Product Development and shared services to shape the future of global commerce.

You’ll own workload planning, incident management, RCA analytics, risk remediation and standards adoption. The role combines strong technical depth with leadership of onshore and offshore teams to drive reliability

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree, Relevant Experience or Degree in related field (degree preferred).
• Typically a minimum of 8 years related professional experience including at least 3 years in a technology management role.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the team’s workload to ensure high-quality, secure execution.
• Act as key planning/Delivery contact for client requirements.
• Apply deep tech understanding across the stack to solve problems and plan improvements.
• Serve as escalation point for incidents; act as incident commander when needed.
• Oversee timely, high-quality RCAs and implement resultant actions.
• Collaborate with enterprise teams to adopt best-practice service management.
• Plan adoption of Technology and Security standards as published.
• Develop remediation plans to reduce risk across environments.
• Introduce standards-based tooling/processes for infrastructure and deployment management.
• Lead large projects within team scope and mentor/coach team members.
• Direct priorities for offshore and contract resources.
