Job summary

Global Payments seeks a Systems and Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps functions. You will oversee operations, security and compliance across environments and collaborate with Client Support, Product Development and shared service teams.

You will act as escalation point for incidents and mentor team members while driving continuous improvement and standards adherence. A strong hands-on leader with broad technology experience is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience is required; degree may be substituted by experience.
• Typically 8+ years of professional experience including at least 3 years in technology management.

Responsibilities

• Direct the Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps functions to support operations and security.
• Plan workloads to ensure high quality, stability and security across environments.
• Coordinate with client support, product development and shared service teams.
• Act as escalation point for incidents and, when needed, incident commander.
• Oversee RCAs and drive resulting actions within scope of responsibilities.
• Integrate service management capabilities with enterprise shared services.
• Adopt technology and security standards and lead remediation efforts.
• Introduce tooling and practices for deployment and management.
• Lead larger projects and mentor direct reports to deliver results.
