Global Payments is hiring a Systems and Operations Manager to lead the Systems Administration team. You will oversee infrastructure, middleware and DevOps, directing work to support operations, security and compliance across environments and services.

You will collaborate with Client Support, Product Development and shared services to deliver client-centric outcomes. The role emphasizes technical leadership, incident management, risk remediation and cross-functional planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related experience in a tech field.
• Minimum 8 years in tech with 3+ years in management.
• Experience leading infrastructure, middleware or DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee infrastructure, middleware and DevOps to ensure stability and security.
• Direct planning and delivery of client requirements with stakeholders.
• Apply strong technical acumen to problem-solve and plan.
• Act as escalation point for incidents when needed.
• Lead RCAs and ensure actions are completed within scope.
• Collaborate with shared services to adopt service management best practices.
• Interpret tech and security standards and drive adoption.
• Manage risk through remediation plans and governance.
• Introduce tooling and process improvements for deployment.
• Lead large environment projects within team scope.
• Mentor team members and foster customer service culture.
• Oversee offshore resources and contract staff priorities.
