Job summary

Global Payments Inc. is seeking a Systems and Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps functions within the Systems Administration team. You will shape the future of global commerce by overseeing operations, security and compliance across environments.

You will mentor teams, drive large projects, and partner with Client Support, Product Development and shared services to deliver reliable services and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or related field from an accredited university is required; however, relevant experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.
• Typically a minimum of 8 years related professional experience including a minimum of 3 years experience in a technology management position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the team’s workload to maintain high quality, stability and security.
• Serve as key point-of-contact for planning and delivering client requirements.
• Apply deep technical understanding of the full tech stack for problem-solving and planning.
• Act as escalation point for technical incidents; serve as incident commander when needed.
• Oversee timely RCA production and drive remediation actions.
• Collaborate with shared service teams to adopt best practice Service Management capabilities.
• Interpret and plan adoption of Technology and Security standards as published.
• Manage risk through remediation plans across environments and services.
• Introduce standards-based tooling and processes for deployment and management.
