Job summary

Global Payments is seeking a Systems and Operations Manager to lead the Infrastructure, Middleware and DevOps functions, ensuring operational stability, security and compliance across environments.

You will work with Client Support, Product Development and shared services, directing BAU work, incident response and service-management initiatives while mentoring team members and coordinating offshore resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 8+ years of related professional experience including 3+ years in a technology management position.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule the team’s workload to ensure high quality and secure execution.
• Act as key point-of-contact for planning and delivering client requirements.
• Use strong technical acumen to understand the full tech stack and contribute to problem-solving and planning.
• Act as escalation point for technical incidents and serve as Incident Commander when needed.
• Oversee production RCA processes and ensure timely actions from root causes.
• Collaborate with enterprise shared service teams to enable best-practice Service Management.
• Interpret and plan adoption of Technology and Security standards as published.
• Manage risk through remediation planning and execution.
• Lead larger projects within the team’s scope and mentor members.
