Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with System Safety Engineering and/or Software Safety Engineering.
• Experience evaluating complex systems for risk.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute MIL-STD-882E compliant system safety programs and tasks.
• Perform hazard analyses to ensure compliance with requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with customer safety representatives and approval authorities to gain safety clearance.
• Lead cross-disciplinary collaboration across engineering teams to mitigate hazards.
• Brief safety considerations and program status during reviews and approvals.
