Corvid Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced System Safety Engineer to support the DoD program portfolio. The role involves finalizing development, testing, and launching systems with a focus on safety requirements in MIL-STD-882E.

You will collaborate across engineering teams to embed safety measures, perform hazard analyses, and develop verification artifacts to ensure reliable, safe weapon systems for DoD customers.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5+ years in a similar role.
• Familiarity with MIL-STD-882E and applying it to system safety programs.
• Experience conducting hazard analyses (PHA, FHA, SHA, SSHA, OSHA, EHA, HHA, FTA, FMEA).

Responsibilities

• Develop and own safety artifacts for DoD programs.
• Conduct and document hazard analyses (PHA, FHA, SHA, SSHA, OSHA, EHA, HHA, FTA, FMEA).
• Develop verification plans and support test activities with data analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed safety features and fault tolerance.
