Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) in Harrisburg seeks a Senior Survey Project Manager to lead multiple project managers on large-scale land surveying projects. The role partners with Market Leads and leadership to drive growth, with utility surveying experience highly preferred.

The candidate must hold a Professional Land Surveyor license and a degree in surveying or related fields, with proven experience managing multidisciplinary teams and delivering proposals, budgets, and client relations.

Qualifications

• PLS license required
• Experience leading large-scale land surveying projects
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities
• Experience with contract negotiations, budgets, and proposals
• Business development, marketing, and client relationship experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop project work plans, schedules, budgets, and staffing for large surveying projects
• Oversee scopes, proposals, budgets, and QA/QC
• Monitor performance, financials, productivity, and department goals
• Lead, mentor, and develop staff
• Prepare RFQs, proposals, and presentations
• Expand client base and market presence with Market Leads and Managers
• Maintain relationships with clients and subconsultants
• Present project information to clients and stakeholders
• Represent the company at meetings and industry events
• Provide technical expertise for utility-related surveys
