Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead land survey projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, client satisfaction, and regulatory compliance.

You will oversee field and office teams, develop proposals and budgets, and mentor staff while maintaining strong client relationships and project profitability. Denver-based relocation may be available for qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industry experience in a professional or management capacity.
• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) License.
• Bachelor’s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in project/phase management for large-scale projects.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, MicroStation, Geopak, ORD, and MS Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to convey assignments and deliverables clearly.
• Ability to mentor and motivate a project team and meet tight deadlines.
• Local candidates preferred; relocation assistance may be available for qualified Denver applicants.

Responsibilities

• Manage land survey projects from start to finish, ensuring services meet quality standards, client specifications, and state standards.
• Plan and implement procedures and systems to maximize operating efficiency.
• Develop and manage proposals, budgets, schedules, billings, and contracts.
• Sign and seal plats, field notes and control drawings as required.
• Establish project management plans and staffing for multiple land survey projects.
• Engage in local industry networking and maintain strong client relationships.
• Provide support to other internal operational units as needed.
• Manage and report project financials to leadership.
