Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Staff Surveyor to supervise a team and deliver large-scale land surveying projects across multiple offices. You will coordinate with project surveyors and field crews to execute scopes and schedules, while mentoring staff on QA/QC and state standards.

The role offers relocation assistance and opportunities to extend into project management, client engagement, and strategic initiatives as you grow with the company.

Qualifications

• Candidate should supervise a team and deliver large-scale land survey projects.
• Experience in project/phase management for large-scale survey projects.
• Strong technical skills, including AutoCAD and MS Office.
• Professional Land Surveyor license preferred and required within 1 year of hire.
• Excellent communication and mentoring abilities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other professional surveyors and teams to execute project scope and schedule.
• Supervise technicians and field crews to complete large-scale land surveying projects.
• Perform boundary and alignment resolution, review title documents, and signing/sealing plats and drawings.
• Mentor and train a team of technicians on state survey standards and QA/QC processes.
• Support the company's strategic goals and growth initiatives.
