Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) is seeking a Staff Surveyor to lead field crews and supervise technicians on large-scale land surveying projects. You will coordinate with Project Surveyors and teams to execute project scope and schedule as established by the Project Manager.

You will also sign and seal plats and drawings, mentor staff on state survey requirements and QA/QC processes, and contribute to SAM’s strategic goals with a strong emphasis on client communication and quality control.

Qualifications

• Proven experience performing or supervising professional land survey tasks.
• Experience managing large-scale survey projects across phases.
• Strong technical skills in AutoCAD and MS Office required.
• Licensed Professional Land Surveyor.

Responsibilities

• Supervise technicians and field crews to complete large-scale land surveying projects.
• Coordinate with other surveyors and teams to meet project scope and schedule.
• Serve as client contact for SAM and sign/seal plats and drawings.
• Mentor staff on state survey requirements and QA/QC processes.
• Support company goals with additional duties as needed.
