Job summary

Surveying And Mapping, LLC (SAM) in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Staff Surveyor to oversee field crews and deliver large-scale land surveying projects on schedule. You will coordinate with Project Managers and other teams, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.

The role emphasizes mentoring technicians, reviewing plats, and maintaining client communication throughout projects. A licensed PLS is required.

Qualifications

Licensed as a Professional Land Surveyor.
Experience managing large-scale survey projects.
Proficient with AutoCAD and MS Office.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with Project Managers, Project Surveyors, and other teams to complete projects according to the established scope and schedule
Supervise technicians and field crews working on large-scale land surveying projects
Serve as a primary client contact and maintain clear communication throughout the project
Review, sign, and seal plats, drawings, and other survey deliverables
Mentor and train technicians on state surveying requirements, technical standards, and QA/QC procedures
Perform additional duties that support the company’s projects and strategic goals
