Job summary

Hanover Research in the United States is seeking a Senior Research Associate, Survey Design and Analysis for Higher Education. This remote role collaborates with Directors and analysts to design high-quality survey instruments and analyze results to support client decision-making in colleges, universities and related organizations.

You will program surveys in Qualtrics, apply data quality controls, and integrate AI-enabled tools with oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Economics, Business, Psychology, Education, Sociology, Statistics, Mathematics or related field
• Experience in research, survey design and analysis preferred
• Strong command of written English and ability to QA survey instruments and outputs
• Ability to responsibly use AI-enabled tools with sound judgment

Responsibilities

• Design and refine higher education survey instruments translating client objectives into actionable data.
• Write clear, unbiased survey questions aligned with best practices.
• Program standard and complex surveys in Qualtrics with advanced skip logic and embedded data.
• Apply data quality controls throughout the survey lifecycle.
• Incorporate AI-enabled tools into research workflows and validate outputs.
• Manage multiple survey projects to deadlines using standardized templates.
• Analyze survey data using established plans including segmentation and descriptive statistics.
• Produce clear charts, tables, and summaries supporting decision-making.
• Collaborate with Research Directors and Content Directors to align design, analysis and reporting.
