Job summary

Hanover Research is seeking a Business Development Associate for Education to drive outreach to K-12 and Higher Education leaders. The role combines prospecting research, scheduling conversations, and building new relationships in a hybrid (DC Area) or remote setting.

You will perform high-volume outreach, coordinate with an Education team, and learn how Hanover’s research and grant development support helps education leaders achieve strategic goals and student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant experience.
• 0–2 years of work experience or internship experience.
• Strong interest in sales, business development, or client-facing work.
• Hybrid Environment with VA/DC/MD area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make 50+ calls and send 15+ emails per day to secure initial meetings.
• Build organizational skills by managing a territory and assisting a Development Director.
• Deliver clear, professional communication across phone, email, and virtual interactions.
• Actively seek coaching and adapt to new information and priorities.
