Qualifications

• BLS certification within 30 days (AHA).
• Certificate of Completion: Surgical Technology and an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with timely, accurate setup.
• Ensure instruments, equipment and sutures are complete and functional.
• Set up sterile field and scrub in prior to patient entry.
• Assist surgeon and participate in case setup across multiple roles.
• Precept and mentor staff and students; adapt to surgeon preferences.
