Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures with timely, accurate setup
• Ensure instruments, equipment, and sutures are complete and functional
• Set up sterile field and scrub in before patient entry
• Organize back table and Mayo stand for smooth case flow
• Provide necessary items and manage resources to avoid delays
• Adapt to surgeon's techniques and preferences for various procedures
• Supervise and mentor other technologists and RNs during cases
• Assist in case closing activities and turnover to maintain efficiency
