Job summary

Qualifications include BLS, a Surgical Technology certificate, and an Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology.

Qualifications

• BLS within 30 days (American Heart Association)
• Surgical Technology certification
• Associate's Degree in Surgical Technology

Responsibilities

• Prepare for surgeon-specific procedures ensuring timeliness and efficiency
• Set up sterile field and be scrubbed prior to patient entry
• Assist in organizing back table and mayo setup for cases
• Precept and mentor staff; adapt technique to surgeon preferences
• Manage intra-op events and ensure appropriate instruments and supplies are available
• Contribute to case turnover and post-procedure dressing and transfer
