Job summary

Advocate Health’s Stanly Surgery Team seeks an experienced Surgical Technologist to support sterile technique, assist in patient prep, and manage instruments for procedures. This role requires 5 years of OR experience and current certification, with opportunities to contribute to policy development and staff education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology.
• 5 years operating room experience in a surgical technologist role.
• Current certification as required by ST III qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Assist in aseptic technique and setup of supplies and instruments.
• Support RN circulator in patient prep, instrument assembly and room turnover.
• Monitor sterility and proper use of supplies; document charges accurately.
