Covenant Jobs in Lubbock, TX is seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to maintain the sterile field, pass instruments, and support the surgical team as second scrub or first assistant as needed.

Under RN supervision, you will ensure aseptic technique and assist with circulating duties. Minimum qualifications include graduation from an accredited surgical technology program and 3 years of experience. Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire, Or
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years of Experience as a certified surgical technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operating room sterile field and assist as second scrub or first assistant as needed.
• Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery and support circulating duties.
• Ensure aseptic technique to prevent contamination and infection.
• Assist the Registered Nurse Circulator and the surgical team as required.
