Providence Covenant Medical Center is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. You will maintain a sterile field, pass instruments and supplies, and assist as a second scrub or first assistant under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting upon hire
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified - National Center for Competency Testing upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years of Experience as a certified surgical technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operating room sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
• Act as second scrub and/or first assistant as needed.
• Assist the registered nurse with circulating duties.
