Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center in Texas is seeking a Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team. Under the supervision of the Registered Nurse Circulator, you will maintain a sterile field, pass instruments, sutures and sponges, and assist with circulating duties.

Eligible candidates must graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program and obtain NBSTSA certification upon hire. BLS certification is required at hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA) upon hire.
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified (NCCT) upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the sterile field and ensure aseptic technique during surgery.
• Assist the Registered Nurse Circulator by passing instruments, sutures, and sponges as needed.
• Support circulating duties and contribute to patient safety and efficient operating room workflow.
