Job summary

Providence Covenant Medical Center is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the operating room team. Under the RN Circulator, you maintain the sterile field, pass instruments and sutures, and ensure aseptic technique. You may serve as second scrub or first assistant as needed, assisting with circulating duties.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Surgical Technology or Armed Services Surgical Technology program.
• National Certified Surgical Technologist upon hire.
• National Tech in Surgery - Certified upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years of Experience as a certified surgical technician.

Responsibilities

• Maintain sterile field and aseptic technique.
• Pass instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.
• Serve as second scrub and/or first assistant as needed.
• Assist RN with circulating duties.
