Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Manager, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead large, complex client engagements across manufacturing, distribution and logistics for portfolio companies.

You will shape strategic supply chain improvements, from network design and sourcing events to transportation and warehousing optimization, while collaborating with Private Equity leadership and PEPI teams.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Experience from a top-tier strategy firm, leading specialist, niche advisory firm, or Big-4 a plus.
• Deep functional expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing.
• Experience in leading or modeling supply chains using software support tools (e.g., Llamasoft).
• Excellent fact-gathering and analytical skills, including business process mapping and quantitative analysis.
• Flexibility to travel based on project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership.
• Identify, design, and implement supply chain improvements for portfolio companies.
• Analyze network design, warehouses, and inventory flows for cost and service gains.
• Develop transformation plans and roadmaps for transportation, warehousing, and distribution.
• Oversee deliverables, manage teams, and maintain day-to-day client relationships.
• Conduct sourcing events for transportation and warehousing, including RFI/RFP processes.
