Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Director, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead large, complex engagements across the U.S. You will shape supply chain transformations for portfolio companies, focusing on distribution networks, logistics, and inventory optimization.

The role requires 10–15+ years of consulting/industry experience, with deep expertise in network design and 3PL operations. Travel as needed and collaboration with PE leadership are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Experience with private equity or PEPI environments preferred.
• Deep expertise in distribution/logistics network optimization and 3PL/warehouse sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership.
• Conduct analysis and lead teams to develop supply chain solutions.
• Analyze network design and footprints to optimize costs, inventory, and service levels.
• Develop transformation plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution improvements.
• Oversee project delivery, manage day-to-day client relationships, and ensure high performance.
