Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead large PE engagements across manufacturing, logistics and distribution. Open to all U.S.

locations, you will drive end-to-end supply chain transformation for portfolio companies and mentor teams. The role requires 10–15+ years of consulting and industry experience, deep expertise in network optimization, and hands-on modeling with tools like Llamasoft.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Deep functional expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization.
• Experience leading or modeling supply chains using software support tools such as Llamasoft.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement solutions.
• Analyze and design supply chain improvements across manufacturing and distribution.
• Assess network design, cost, inventory, and service levels to meet objectives.
• Develop transformation plans and implementation roadmaps with expected benefits.
• Oversee project deliverables and manage day-to-day client relationships.
• Lead teams and conduct rigorous analysis to drive results.
