Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead large, complex engagements across the US. The role focuses on optimizing distribution networks, transportation, and warehousing in a private equity context, with opportunities to design and implement transformative supply chain solutions.

The successful candidate will bring 7–10+ years of consulting and industry experience, strong analytical and project-management skills, and comfort with travel.

Qualifications

• 7–10+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
• Experience in distribution and logistics network optimization.
• Experience in leading or modeling supply chains using software tools (e.g., Llamasoft).
• Experience in conducting or leading 3PL sourcing events.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement supply chain improvements.
• Assess supply chain designs, costs, and opportunities across distribution and logistics.
• Develop transformation plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution with estimated benefits.
• Conduct sourcing events including RFI/RFPs and 3PL negotiations.
• Manage project teams and day-to-day client relationships to ensure quality delivery.
