Job summary
Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a Manager, Supply Chain - Distribution & Logistics to lead large, complex engagements across US locations. You will analyze manufacturing and distribution networks, optimize inventory flows, and drive transformations in transportation, warehousing, and distribution with measurable benefits.
Strong collaboration with PE leadership is required. Ideal candidates bring 7–10+ years of consulting/operating experience, deep distribution/logistics expertise, and proficiency
Qualifications
- 7–10+ years of combined consulting and industry operating experience.
- Deep functional expertise in distribution and logistics network optimization, transportation and warehouse sourcing.
- Experience in leading or modeling supply chains using software such as Llamasoft.
Responsibilities
- Lead large, complex client engagements with Private Equity leadership to identify, design, and implement supply chain improvements.
- Assess and optimize distribution networks, inventory flow, and cost structures across networks.
- Develop transformation plans for transportation, warehousing, and distribution with benefit timing and ROI estimates.
- Manage project delivery, teams, and client relationships to ensure high-quality results.
