Job summary

Anduril Industries in Costa Mesa, CA, is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality processes with suppliers across castings, machined parts, and avionics. You will drive design for manufacturability feedback, supplier development, and PPAP/AS9100 compliance to ensure first-time quality.

The role requires aerospace/defense experience, ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance, and up to 50% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field.
• Experience in maritime, aerospace, defense, or space applications in one of the specified commodities.
• Experience scaling supplier quality from prototype to high-volume production.
• Knowledge of AS9100/ISO 9001-based QMS; Lead/Internal Auditor certification a plus.
• Experience with FAI/AS9102 and PPAP elements.
• Experience with ITAR and government regulations.
• FMEA/APQP/PPAP and GD&T knowledge.
• Ability to obtain U.S. TS/SCI clearance and travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, and execute processes that deliver high quality hardware for Intelligence Systems.
• Lead supplier quality development throughout product development stages including design reviews and qualification.
• Assess supplier processes and capabilities to ensure alignment with requirements.
• Drive supplier readiness via RCCA, SCAR, and containment activities.
• Audit supplier Quality Management Systems and support supplier audits and reviews.
