Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier quality development across Sentry’s PCBA, structures and power, radar, and imaging. You will partner with engineering, quality, and sourcing teams to drive processes that improve quality, reliability, and performance with suppliers.

This role requires a strong background in aerospace/defense manufacturing, PPAP/ PFMEA/ AS9102 knowledge, and the ability to travel up to 50% to supplier and manufacturing locations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar technical field (Mechanical, Electrical, Optical, or Manufacturing Engineering preferred).
• Experience in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Quality in aerospace/defense or similar hardware across one or more of the following commodities: PCBA, structures and power, radar, and imaging.
• Experience driving high quality assembly and/or disassembly of complex projects and mechanical or electronic structures through developing drawings, schematics, and work instructions with other engineering functions.
• Experience with driving supplier performance and evaluation, SOW, quality clauses, IP, and government regulations such as ITAR.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements (MSA, PFMEA, AS9102), AIAG quality techniques, and GD&T.
• Strong ownership mindset to drive projects end-to-end.
• Analytical skills with data mining, data quality, metrics, and statistical tools (MatLab, JMP, MiniTab).
• Ability to obtain and hold a U.S. TS/SCI security clearance.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% to suppliers and manufacturing locations.

Responsibilities

• Drive supplier quality development across design reviews, supplier process development, testing, and qualification for Sentry components and sub-assemblies.
• Provide manufacturing and outsourcing process expertise across PCBA, structures and power, radar, and imaging.
• Collaborate with development engineering, product quality engineering, and program management to ensure reliable supply for development and production programs.
• Lead supplier qualification activities (PPAP, FAIR, MSA, Audit, PFMEA, AS9102).
• Drive supplier performance for cost, quality, delivery, and fulfillment of strategic goals across four commodity families.
• Eliminate supplier risk through audits, readiness reviews, and training documentation.
• Define technology/vendor capability roadmaps and delivery schedules for future variants and concepts.
• Support RCCA and MRB activities and drive SCAR processes.
• Audit supplier QMS and ensure flow-down requirements; lead onsite supplier audits.
