Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to bridge design and high-rate production for precision mechanical parts. You will lead manufacturability feedback, drive supplier development, and manage quality programs across development and production phases.

You will collaborate with design, quality, sourcing, and program teams, ensuring compliance with AS9100/ITAR and delivering reliable components for defense systems. US TS/SCI eligibility and travel up to 50% are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Metallurgy or similar technical field.
• Experience producing precision mechanical parts for aerospace or defense.
• Experience scaling supplier capabilities from prototype to high-rate production.
• AS9100/ISO 9001 QMS knowledge; AS9100 Lead/Internal Auditor certs a plus.
• Experience performing First Article Inspection to AS9102.
• Familiarity with IP, SOW, government regs (ITAR).
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, PPAP elements, MSA, GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Partner with design teams to provide manufacturability feedback and generate product data for precision parts.
• Lead supplier quality development through design reviews, process development, testing, and qualification.
• Drive supplier readiness and containment activities across development and production programs.
• Collaborate with engineering, sourcing, and program management to ensure predictable supply.
