Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Lead Substation Engineer to apply expertise in protective relaying and controls for HV and EHV substations. You will guide teams, develop relay philosophies, and coordinate design reviews with clients and vendors.

The role requires a BS in Engineering, 12+ years of substation design experience at 138kV+, and an active PE license. Travel to sites may be required. Strong communication and MS Office skills are essential.

Formación

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 12+ years designing substations at 138kV and above.
• PE license required.
• Experience as a firm/client liaison in lead engineering roles.
• Experience with relay calculations and protective relaying.
• Familiar with NEC, NESC, NEMA, IEEE, ANSI standards.

Responsabilidades

• Lead substation protection and controls engineering designs.
• Prepare relay philosophies and protection schemes.
• Mentor junior/senior engineers and designers.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and project managers.
• Review calculations and drawings for accuracy and completeness.
