WSP is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Experienced P&C Field Services Technician for project locations in Maine, New York, Virginia, North Carolina, and Florida. You will perform testing and commissioning for protection and control systems in high voltage substations and support field teams on site.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years in electrical testing, experience with protective relays and test equipment, and strong safety and data documentation practices.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 7+ years in electrical testing, including HV circuit breakers, transformers, and substation protection testing.
• Experience with transmission/generation/distribution relays and protective schemes.
• Relay calibration and testing using Omicron CMC 256/356 and Doble F6150.
• Familiarity with NETA, IEEE, NFPA standards and field safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Perform testing and commissioning for Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
• On-site relay testing using test sets and documentation of results.
• Document field activities with forms and mobile tools.
• Support Project Lead or Field Supervisor and mentor junior technicians.
• Ensure safety compliance and quality on all job sites.
