Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Lead P&C Field Services Technician for multiple locations in the United States, including Maine.

You will lead field teams, perform on-site protection and control testing for 15 kV–500 kV systems, and mentor junior technicians while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. The role requires 11+ years of electrical testing experience, knowledge of Omicron and Doble test sets, and the ability to travel up to 80%.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 11+ years in electrical testing, including HV breakers, transformers, and substation testing.
• Expert knowledge of protective relays and test sets (Omicron, Doble).
• Familiar with standards such as NETA, IEEE, NFPA.

Responsibilities

• Lead field operations for complex construction and infrastructure projects with expert technical guidance.
• Perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems on high voltage substations.
• Mentor technicians, manage site logistics, and ensure safety standards and client requirements.
