Job summary

WSP is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Senior P&C Field Services Technician to join our team across project locations in Washington and surrounding states. You will perform testing and commissioning of protection and control systems in high voltage substations and support field operations with hands-on troubleshooting.

You will lead on-site activities, follow safety protocols, document results with digital tools, and coordinate with project teams and subcontractors to ensure

Qualifications

Experience in field testing and commissioning of protection and control systems.
Ability to lead day-to-day field activities with minimal supervision.
Familiarity with safety standards and regulatory requirements in field environments.

Responsibilities

Perform testing and commissioning of Protection and Control systems on high voltage substations.
Perform on-site protective relay testing using relay test sets (e.g., Omicron, Doble).
Follow safety protocols and participate in daily safety briefings and job hazard assessments.
Use field forms and digital tools to document site activities.
Coordinate with subcontractors on testing logistics and equipment deployment.
Provide input to field schedules and equipment needs.
