Job summary

WSP USA is seeking a POWER Testing and Energization (PTE) Experienced P&C Field Services Technician based in Missouri or Indiana. You will perform protection & control testing on high voltage substations, using relays and test sets, while documenting field activities and ensuring safety protocols.

The role requires extensive field work, hands-on testing with equipment like Omicron and Doble systems, and collaboration with the PTE Team to support client projects across utility

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Perform protection and control testing on high voltage substations.
Conduct on-site protective relay testing using Omicron CMC 256/356 and Doble F6150.
Document site activities with field forms and mobile tools.
Maintain logs, photos, and labels with attention to detail.
Support project leads and escalate complex issues.
Assist in tracking subcontractor performance and project reporting.
Participate in daily safety briefings and ensure safety compliance.
Collaborate with other technicians to maintain workflow and quality.
