Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substation experience to lead schedules, budgets and client communications in a fast-paced environment.

You will manage project definitions, costs, and profitability while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders, mentors junior PMs, and ensure timely invoicing and payments. 10% travel or less.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and approvals.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Reviews and processes client billings and vendor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitors project status, risks and change management.
• Coordinates and attends pre-bid meetings and prepares bid packages.
• Prepares monthly reports and closeout/lessons-learned meetings.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
