Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience. You will create project definitions, schedules and budgets, manage profitability, and coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders. Expect detailed planning, strong communication, and mentoring of junior PMs.

Travel is minimal (10% or less). This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 13+ years of experience, and PMI/DBIA certification within 12

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Thirteen or more years of relevant work experience.
PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.
Significant design-build/EPC experience with substations preferred.

Responsibilities

Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
Prepares statements of work with work breakdown structures and secures approvals.
Manages project costs and profitability.
Reviews invoices and ensures timely client payment; approves subcontractor invoices.
Monitors risks and escalates as needed; manages project change control.
Keeps deadlines, assignments and objectives communicated to the team.
Prepares monthly reports, bid packages, addendums and closeout meetings.
