Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substations expertise. You will define project scope, develop schedules and budgets, manage costs and profitability, and coordinate with clients and engineers to deliver on time and within budget.

Responsibilities include preparing SOWs, WBS, tracking progress, handling change management, and mentoring junior PMs. Travel up to 10% is required, with oversight from CDM Smith's project management team.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
13+ years of relevant work experience.
PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Create project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives.
Prepare statements of work with budgets and WBS and gain concurrence from stakeholders.
Manage costs and profitability.
Prepare and review client billings and ensure timely payments; approve subcontractor invoices.
Monitor project status and risks; escalate as needed.
Manage change using change protocols.
Communicate deadlines and assignments to the project team.
Prepare overall schedules and in-house budgets by group.
Coordinate submittals and interface with agencies.
Mentor less experienced Project Managers.
