Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substations experience. You will lead scope definition, schedule and budgets, and manage stakeholder expectations to deliver on-time, on-budget projects.

You will oversee cost controls, change management, and coordination with engineering and construction teams while mentoring junior PMs. Travel is expected, and a strong background in EPC/substation projects is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required within 12 months of hire or promotion.

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with associated work breakdown structures and gains concurrence and approval from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and ensures profitability.
• Prepares client billings and ensures timely payment; reviews subcontractor invoices.
• Monitors project status and escalates risks as needed.
• Coordinates changes using change management protocols and maintains schedules.
• Communicates deadlines and objectives to project team members.
• Prepares monthly reports, bid packages, and addendums.
