Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial experience with substations. Responsibilities include defining project scope, schedules, budgets, and objectives, and coordinating with stakeholders.

You will manage costs, review client billings, control change notices, prepare schedules and monthly reports, mentor junior PMs, and ensure on-time delivery within budget. Travel is limited to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Prepares detailed statements of work with work breakdown structures (budgets) and gains concurrence from stakeholders.
• Manages project costs and profitability.
• Prepares and reviews client billings and ensures timely payments.
• Reviews and approves subcontractor/vendor invoices.
• Monitors project status and risks; escalates as needed.
• Manages project change using change management protocols.
• Prepares project schedule/timeline and in-house budgets.
• Facilitates meetings with stakeholders.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
