Job summary

The Perry Group, a CDM Smith company, seeks an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial substation experience to lead complex programs. You will craft schedules, budgets and goals, manage project costs, and ensure profitability while coordinating with stakeholders and regulatory submittals.

You will mentor junior project managers and drive timely client billings, risk management, and change control. Travel is up to 10% as projects demand.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree
• Thirteen (13) or more years of relevant work experience
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification is required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list)

Responsibilities

• Creates project definitions, schedules, budgets, and objectives for projects.
• Manages project costs and is responsible for ensuring profitability.
• Prepares and reviews timely client billings and ensures client payment.
• Monitors project risks and escalates as appropriate.
• Coordinates submittals to local/state/federal agencies.
• Mentors less experienced Project Managers.
