Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks a Substation Engineer Consultant to lead multi-discipline teams in the design, modification, and analysis of high‑voltage substations. The role requires strong project management, client communication, and coordination across civil, structural, and transmission disciplines.

Hybrid schedule with in-office work 3 days/week at Peachtree Corners, GA. 10+ years HV experience and PE/PMP/CERTS are valued but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Engineering degree required.
• 10+ years in design engineering or management of HV utility projects.
• Experience with EPC/Owners Engineer/Joint Ventures is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, and scheduling professionals.
• Coordinate and manage design phases for all electrical engineering work.
• Ensure projects meet scope, schedule, and budget.
• Communicate with clients and support business development.
• Mentor team members.
