Job summary

Sargent & Lundy seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead electrical teams in the design, modification, and analysis of high voltage substations in a hybrid work environment. You will coordinate engineers, designers, estimators, and scheduling professionals across multiple projects to ensure quality, on-time delivery, and adherence to budgets.

The role requires a BS from ABET-accredited program, PE license, and 10+ years of HV transmission/substation experience.

Qualifications

• BS from ABET-accredited program
• PE license required
• 10+ years in design engineering/management of HV utility projects
• Experience with EPC/Owners Engineer/Joint Ventures
• Strong written and verbal communication, proposal writing

Responsibilities

• Manage project teams of engineers, designers, estimators, controls, and scheduling professionals.
• Direct coordination of detailed design phases for electrical engineering work.
• Ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and financial targets.
• Coordinate system design activities to comply with specs and codes.
• Prepare reports and studies per client requirements and S&L formats.
• Provide independent reviews of work and scope of proposals.
