Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to lead design and project management of high voltage substations. You will collaborate with engineers and designers to conceptualize, plan, and execute projects while addressing complex electrical engineering challenges.

The role emphasizes reporting, client liaison, and opportunities for knowledge sharing through Communities of Practice. A hybrid work arrangement is offered with some travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Essential skills include: Bachelor's degree in engineering and ability to prioritize multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience tracking project information: schedules, expenditures, budgets, and client interface.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
• Work on challenging assignments that include investigating, troubleshooting, and solving electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports that present technical and project information clearly and meet client requirements and S&L formats.
• Develop career via peer-learning through Communities of Practice.
• May travel to client sites as needed.
