Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to lead MV power systems design and project management. The role involves active participation in conceptualization, planning, and execution within a project team of engineers and designers.

You will tackle complex electrical engineering challenges, prepare client-ready reports, and collaborate across disciplines. The job offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote, plus a generous relocation package

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor of Science in Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in the design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects within budgets and timelines.
• Experience tracking project information such as schedules and expenditures, and preparing status reports.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.
• Experience reviewing design drawings created by others.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Take an active role in project conceptualization, work planning, and project execution.
• Work on challenging assignments that include investigating, trouble-shooting, and solving a wide variety of electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports that present technical and project information clearly and meet client requirements and S&L formats.
• Develop your career via peer-learning through knowledge sharing in Sargent & Lundy’s Communities of Practice.
• You may have the opportunity to travel to client sites as needed.
