Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer in a hybrid role, with three days in office and two remote. You will lead MV power systems design, manage project scope and client interfaces, and contribute to reports and project planning for substations 138kV and above.

The position emphasizes technical leadership, coordination with a project team, and opportunities for relocation support where applicable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering is required.
• 7+ years of MV power systems design experience.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, budgets and schedules.
• Experience reviewing design drawings and client interfaces.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, work planning and execution on projects.
• Tackle challenging electrical engineering issues and investigations.
• Prepare clear technical and project reports for clients and internal teams.
• Share knowledge with peers through Communities of Practice.
• Possibility to travel to client sites as needed.
