Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a Senior Substation Engineer to lead high-voltage substation design and project management within a collaborative team. The role may include travel to client sites as needed and offers a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and two remote days.

Ideal candidates will hold a BS in Engineering, 5+ years of MV power systems design, and strong budgeting, scheduling, and client-facing communication skills. Relocation support is available where appropriate.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering required.
• 5+ years in design of Medium Voltage Power Systems.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects under budget and time constraints.
• Experience tracking project information: schedules, expenditures, status reports, client interface.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and participate in project conceptualization, planning, and execution.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical engineering issues.
• Prepare reports meeting client requirements and company formats.
• Share knowledge via Communities of Practice to grow technical skills.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
